Basic EssentialsNot a good morning. Bunny is on the rampage again. Didn't get much sleep. The dogs were barking all night long. Bunny hates 'em. I don't, so I keep them around. Gotta go to the grocery store. No shampoo, chap-stick, ice cream. She calls them basic essentials. I call them optional. I guess I'm a simple man.Basic Essentials
Never had any kids because she didn't want to ruin her health. She smokes a pack a day. I just don't think she likes kids. She's always drinking. Complains about those damn do


Behind the Evergreen Tree“C’mon, I wanna show you something,” pleads the little boy as he takes my young hand with his and leads me away to a place where we are oblivious to the rest of the world, a place where life is not meant to be lived on a schedule. This place I speak of may be trivial to you, yet to a five year old it was majestic and full of surprises. Protected by two large, aging evergreen trees, birds sang more beautifully and, at night, the fireflies that dotted the air became our own private lanterns. We would escape to this sanctuary to watch the gleaming sun try to fight its way in between the branches of the trees, shBehind the Evergreen Tree


Plastic RevolutionA world of vain namless faces, Fills TV screens and blank plug-in people chases', Of perfection through injecting infection. A woman who bleeds for hours, And sucks her fat into long silicone towers, A mother of three will be. Faces flash on the screen, To a child who would never be seen, Until the fantastic, plastic revolution. It coaxes your childrens morals to a twisted unfurled, And television will teach them the way of their world, To partake in the splendor, there is no prequisite to be a beauty-queen Only somone with tangible currency of a will to be seen, AnPlastic Revolution


TodayI knew today was different. Unlike all the rest. I could feel today was different. I aced my first math test.Today
I still felt today was different. That i hadn't seen it all. I got the leading role In a performance due next fall.
But something was still different. I knew something was coming. Something new and exciting. The tree birds had been humming.
But that wasn't it at all. There still was something else. A sort of new-ness in the air. I didn't feel like myself.
I met a handome boy today. I knew this was the one.
